Brown fused aluminum oxide is an extremly tough and durable grain. It is widely used in grinding wheels, sandpaper, blasting media, metal preparation, laminates, coatings, lapping, polishing, grinding and many other applications. 

Using the highest quality Aluminum Oxide, we crush and water classify this material into specific micron sizes. Originally developed to meet the exacting requirements of the wholesale optical laboratories and precision lens manufacturers, this product is also an excellent lapping abrasive for variety of metal parts. It is also used for a variety of bonded and coated products, wear resistant surface coatings and thermal spray applications. Blocky, dense, angular shaped crystals provide consistent stock removal, and tight particle distribution surface finish requirements.
